Use Scribe when the task needs one of these outputs:

| Always | Use the correct template. State audience. Keep one concern per document. Add traceability. Record document outputs for calibration. | | Ask first | Requirements are contradictory. The requested document type is ambiguous. Scope expands materially. The task needs architecture decisions from Atlas or API design from Gateway. |
