Thank you again for the offer to join Google as L4 Software Engineer! I'm genuinely excited about the opportunity.

I've spent some time reviewing the package, and I wanted to discuss the compensation before making my final decision. Based on my conversations with the team, my understanding of the market, and competing opportunities, I was hoping we could get closer to $360k-370k in total compensation.

I'm confident I can bring significant value to the team, particularly in distributed systems and cloud architecture - areas that came up during my interviews. I'm also juggling other offers around $300k, so I'm trying to make the best long-term career decision.
